Loyal followers of this blog will remember that a few weeks ago we attempted to go to the Spaghetti Warehouse for Murder-Mystery-Dinner-Theater night. You may also remember that it was tragically cancelled at the last second. We were down, but not out. While home for a job interview, Paige found a "Do-It-Yourself" murder mystery kit called Bullets and BBQ. It had spectacular stereotypes and a plot-line filled with guarenteed twists. Parts were assigned, rooms were reserved and a party was planned.
This happened on Friday. In between then and now I watched the Nova game and blogged about it. This seemingly harmless misstep was apparently taken as a slight to our friendship by Paige and it's been demanded that I recap the night ASAP. Unfortunately this means that Sarah's visit is again pushed back, which is a problem as I already remember so little of that night anyway.
I now present to you, in photo essay format, Bullets and BBQ.
We have numerous rooms to rent out for parties and events on campus. Instead of renting out the traditional party space of the SGA house, Paige rented out the religious house. It's how she rolls apparently. It was a strange setting for a murder mystery.
Nicky, playing the role of Bibi Gunn, the towns "entertainer" had the BEST costume ever
Shannon played Juan Bandito, one of the greatest stereotypes ever. In a surprise acting move, she chose to portray him as having an Italian accent. She never explained why.
Bibi Gunn disapproved of Paige screwing up and going ahead a round in her play book. She claimed the pages stuck together, I think she was cheating.
Doc #2/Tonto reveals the most epic plot twist EVER
Doc is scandalized to hear that Sally Forth, the British mail order bride, was the murderer. Actually no one was scandalized, we all had her (aka my character) pegged from about round 2. It was pretty obvious.
The game required a cassette player which by luck the religious house happened to have in it's wall. God does work in mysterious ways it seems
Group shots are always hard for this crew
Our communication skills could use a lot of work
We try the self timer, to little success
A good night was had by all

you should tell paige that lord weldon is putting her in the stocks for 3 days for denying the publication of a weekend that was really devoted to him
Really this is all Marianna's fault. If she would update her blog in a timely manner this would not happen.
Think about the fans, Marianna.
Also, SGA HOUSE WAS ALREADY RESERVED!!!
